Valuable teaching happens in many different settings.

This may include organised teaching such as tutorials, bedside teaching, simulation, and formal teaching programmes, as well as teaching that arises naturally in day-to-day clinical practice, including case discussions, clinic-based teaching, ward teaching, and brief teaching moments with colleagues and learners.
